Macarthur Anglican School of Music

OVERVIEW

The Macarthur Music School was completed in collaboration with the team at Mayoh Architects following on from successful earlier Junior School works completed for the client. Vernon Constructions completed the expansion of the new Music School including new Music Classrooms, Shared Learning space, Six Prac Rooms, new staffrooms, music storerooms and staff amenities facilities.

The Acoustic performance criteria was developed and implemented by the team to ensure correct construction systems and materials selection was exercised to ensure the final building Acoustic performance criteria was achieved. A large external playground forecourt and tiered off-form concrete seating was also included within the project to provide additional facilities for an external performance space. A high quality project delivered on time and on budget in line within the clients timeframe for the start of school team.
